| | Comments: | Mestral & Leibeig apartments lovely- spacious & clean with balcony. Our upstairs one felt very safe for toddlers. both up&downstairs apartments have steps tho, so had to carry buggy up. Playground & pool areas superb for littlies.
Oct half term hols is really at the end of their season, so only 1 restaurant open in Santo Tomas('Las Dunas'. -mostly English food... chips with everything, nuggets, roast chicken & chips, pizza etc. Few salads. But very friendly english speaking staff.)
Hired car for 2 days- otherwise would have been very fed up! Car hire place nextdoor to little supermarket & pharmacy much cheaper than one recommended by rep. (we paid 32 Euros per day + fully comp insurance/CDW/no excess & free car seats for 2 children.)
All in, wouldn't particularly recommend Menorca at this time of year, purely due to lack of restaurant choice. Even driving around island, we struggled to find any places to eat good, local food.
If you must go, try Cala Galdana for a day!
